Newsweek

Newsweek

This Newsweek article is about a man by the name of Michael J. Pollaci and his restored dream of outer-space. When Pollaci grew up in the 60’s and 70’s during the space race between the United states and USSR. Nearly every kid wanted to be an astronaut when they grew up, and for the first time, they actually could. It was no longer a far-fetched idea as it was just years before. Unfortunately his interest in space and planets grew faint as his life progressed. All the joy and amusement once held by these fascinating pictures had depleted, until 30 years later, when he bought his daughter a telescope. He had restored his amazement by outer-space and
used the telescope more than his own daughter did.

His family didn't have the money at the time to buy the telescope.

I have a telescope. I don't really use it that often, but I love looking at the stars!
